Adonis vernalis (pheasant's eye)

I am looking for someone who might have Adonis vernalis (yellow pheasant's eye) in their garden. What do you think of it and what is the possibility of trading?

Adonis vernalis looks like a single yellow fern leaf peony. It grows the same height and shape of its leaves are also the same as a fern leaf peony. It is hardy to zone 3 and is actually from the ranunculus family.

I know Holes Greenhouse sells them and other varieties. I've always wanted one for my garden but dang they are expensive! One of these days I'll break down and buy one ;)

I wonder why they're so expensive? Are they slow growing, or hard to start from seed?

Hmmm, strange why Holes have them on for so expensive $40-$50 and Hortico have them only for $7? I'm not sure why Laurie?

I know that the Adonis aestivalis annual seed is very cheap and very easy to wintersow ;)
