Concord grapes

Hi, I'm new to the forum, but I'd like to ask a question about grapes. I love concord grapes and I've seen them growing around the area, but my place gets colder than most. I live in zone 4, but it gets down to -27 F on a pretty regular basis (maybe because we live in a small valley with a creek behind the house). We've also had a lot of snow the last few winters.

I found some concord grapes on sale at Lowe's and couldn't resist. I've heard Valiant is more reliable, but have not been able to find them at local nurseries. I live about a half hour out of Spokane, WA and they're in zone 5b. Has anyone had success with concords in colder climtates? I'm planting them on the east side of the house (to block them from the wind) but in a sunny area. If they make it through the winter, I plan to let them grow on a split rail wooden fence. Any suggestions?
