Rose ID

Hi All,

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and their gardens! This is the first year I've tried growing roses and so far so good except for some powdery mildrew. I'm a little disappointed in the color of some of my rose's. A few different varieties seem to be very similar in color, a sort of hot pink. Winnipeg Parks, Morden Belle, Captain Samuel Holland and John Davis. The first 3 I just listed I believe are what they say they are, but I don't think my John Davis really is John Davis. I've taken a photo of the flowers and leaves of this shrub.... what do you think?

Here is a link that might be useful: John Davis??

RE: Rose ID

Looks like Morden Amorette.

RE: Rose ID

Yes, John Davis should be pale/medium pink. That's not him.
