I use agribon in the fall. It allows enough air movement so I wouldn't worry about the plants being damp.

I'll be covering some stuff tonight - cucs, tomatoes, and may try protecting some corn - that is, if agribon will pin to the top of the corn stalks with clothespins. That's my grand plan, anyway.

What Pudge said. Unless you're using 3 or more layers, moisture is not a concern. For optimal frost protection, remove all kinds of mulch from the soil and soak the soil in the afternoon. Rig up the row covers in a tent shape - keep the base as wide as you can.

It's supposed to get pretty hot (high 20s) next week, and I'd be worried about your tomatoes overheating if you leave the covers on 24/7.

I covered the tomatoes and beans last night as it was getting pretty cold. They've changed the forecast since I last looked so I'll remove the Agribon today. It's going to be pretty hot this week =:)

At least now I know that the pieces of Agribon that I have are a perfect size. I think I'd recommend that stuff. It seems to be so much easier to use than old sheets =:)
