Calling all 'Henry Hudson' Rose Growers!

I just picked up a Henry Hudson rose from Patmore's end of season sale for $5. I've done a search for the height, but of course, the range that I've found is from 2' to 3' tall, and 3' wide. So for those of you who grow this rose, how tall does it get for you? I'm thinking if it does get to 3', then I won't be planting it at the front of the border.

Hi Laurie,

My Mom had this rose out in the country, definite zone 2b. Anyways, I think 2 feet is the most it got in height, probably less. It was around 2 feet wide as well, though I can see how with age it would sprawl out more, depending on trimming and such.

I don't have one, but one of my DM friends at the lake have one. It must be about 1 1/2 to 2 ft tall.

Oh perfect, no more than 2 feet tall is what I was wanting. When it dries up enough to plant, Henry will go in front of Red Robusta. Thanks everyone!

I live 20 minutes north of Edmonton Alberta.
My Henry Hudson roses are 31" tall in their 3rd year of growth.
