I'm happy that I still have some color in my garden. I traded for some ROS seeds 2 years ago, was told they would all be white. One of them has come up lavender and I hope the other one still comes up white. Marg

Some of my impatiens still look nice like that, but the petunias are awful now. :(

So nice to see some color at this time of year! Beautiful pots!!

It has been record temps here in Edmonton this past week and nothing much blooming in my yard. Snapdragons, malva, a few dianthus, and one lonely little morning glory. :( Guess I'll have to post pics of the weeds........

Thanks for your nice comments. It's hard to let go of nice containers at this time of year, but alas we all have to. I forgot to take pics of the Dimorpotheca and Ice Plant. They didn't do much all summer but are doing an awesome job of flowering right now. When it got cooler at night I moved my containers under a tent I use for shade because I was hoping to have some nice containers for T-day. Glad I did because the nights are getting really cool. I think I will be bringing some of the geraniums, impatiens into the sunroom. Afraid the petunias bought it. But, I do have a daylily that keeps sending up rebloom scapes, right now May May has 2 new scapes with 8 buds. Doubt they will be able to flower tho. Marg

I've found her to do an excellent job of flowering. She started late, but then all my daylilies did, and she kept on going. I usually buy mine in the spring. This year I ordered the 10 new ones but got more when I went to get them, I'm weak willed. I got them all planted in a new bed and am hoping for lots of new flowers next year. I'm still thinking of putting in another order at HM. Marg

Thanks Marg. I so look forward to SOME bloom next year. I got my HM order last week, I think, and am very impressed! They sent HUGE, healthy double and triple fans! So impressed! I have a couple more to put directly into the ground from The Potting Shed and a few more coming from F&H next week. Botanus just sent out my order on Friday. A few bulbs and irises I couldn't get from Ann and Bob.
Still have Vessey's and McFaydens bulbs and asiatics. I'm hoping for a nice fall. All is still pretty green here. I have lots of space but my DH has to dig up the turf and he is petering out fast. :)
