| With all the interest being shown for mushrooms, I thought you might like to take a look at what we saw on our Sept long weekend mushroom hike. I never saw such variety! If you click on view all images it should take you to the slideshow. At least I hope so! |

| Now that is a lot of mushrooms. It looks like you mite have been in muskeg country. Do you know the names of all or any of them. Thanks for sharing. |

| I don't know anything at all about mushrooms. We only went because it was a gorgeous day and thought a walk in the woods would be enjoyable. This place was near a lake in the Grassy River Provincial Park. It felt like we were in the land of the fairies. I was stopping to look at a different mushroom every few feet. It was a treat! Apparently it is supposed to be a great place to go in the spring to see the calypso orchids also. |
