Winter is here

The other day walking in the river valley I noticed the geese are about ready for the flight south -- the formations have really tightened up. Today we have snow.

Yep lots of snow here in the Edmonton area as well. But the roads are good so no problem.

Winter surely is here! We have a lot of S*** outside and that is before I could get my yard totally ready! I have not put the mulch down around some more zone-challenged plants, and I have not even pruned my hybrid tea rose yet....sigh!

Oh well, "que sera sera".....

Minus 21C at the Airport this morning!
Some flocks of geese flew over Beaumont yesterday.
Good amount of snow but at the shop in the city was about half.
No need for pruning now, better in spring when you see what is is alive. Snow is a good insulator.
