Look what I founds!

| I was out walking the dogs this morning and stumbled across this white pansy. This was quite a surprise because I have never planted these so I don't know where it came from. I'm going to leave it where it is and hopefully it will survive the winter. If it does, I will move it to my hosta bed. Marg

| They tend to come up all over! I have quite a few still blooming, probably decendants of ones that i planted long ago. Really odd to have flowers this late! Actually, i was just in Thunder Bay and there are still some flowers blooming at my parents' apartment - not sure what they are, maybe some kind of coreopsis. |

| What I found strange about this was that the pansy was growing in the middle of a field! There are no flower beds near it and I have never planted them. |

| We had wild violets growing all over the front patio and walkways and blooming even after frost. Loved it! Hope your 'new find' survives your winter and you can transplant it next year. |
