It's easy to order directly from Dowdeswell's Delphiniums ... I've done so a few times with no problem at all. You'll definitely get some amazing plants from their seed grown strains!

Here is a link that might be useful: Dowdeswell's Delphiniums

I'm not to familiar with delphs (I don't grow them) but I was looking for peonies and went to Blossomhillnursery.com and noticed that they have delphs there to. They are located in Peterborough Ont. and do mail order. Hope this helps.

Thankyou for your response. I think I will take the chance and order seeds directly from Dowdeswell's Delphiniums.
I have neverordered on line from out of the country before so am kind of nervouse bout that. Is any one else ordering seeds form there this year maybe we could combine an order. 50 seeds of each color is quite a few seeds.would like to try a few different colors.

brieen, when I had ordered from Dowdeswell's Delphiniums, this was the first time I had ever placed an order online, I had no problem and no troubles with any other orders placed as such, the sites are secure. These people are the breeders of these delphiniums, their prices are good, especially as compared to what you'll be paying for their seeds offered through other companies, total robbery! Yes, 50 seeds is alot to have to be purchasing .... but, you can always grow and sell extra plants OR simply sell the seeds, they'll keep for years when stored in your DEEP freeze.

Our dollar is high, so you'll also benefit in that aspect :)
