I just posted a query similar to this one on the Technical Problems feature (Letters/Comments generated errors), so maybe I ought to be more patient and wait for the Administrators' reply. Not being the patient sort, I thought I'd also put my question to this forum.

I was wondering about the circumstances surrounding the mysterious disappearance of the Mystery Plant Contest. The last one was back in October, 2004. The contest was such an entertaining and educational feature Although I had very slim hopes of ever winning out over the amazingly knowledgeable people who played it, I loved doing the research for my entries. The contest was so entertaining and educations. I guess I can say it was one of my favorite GardenWeb features (hence my posting on THIS forum.)

Is anyone else missing the contest? Does anyone know what happened to it? and whether there's a chance it may return to GardenWeb? In any case, I can still play the archived contests for my edification.
