| Which colors for annuals do you think look stunning together, and how do you achieve the effect? I like purple, red and yellow together but don't know which plants to use. Salvia, maybe, for the red... |

| Dark pinks, soft pinks, whites, silver/grey foliage, and maybe a smattering of lavender/purple. This is always my first favorite color combination. Then purples, oranges, pale yellows, peach, white, and again, the silver/grey foliage plants as my second favorites. Salvias, Gerberas, artemesias, Lamb's Ear, cannas, roses are just a few of the plants that I use. |

| I like the Joker pansies, orange and purple. I really enjoy orange and blue too. Peachy and blue and laveder also. I also like the fuschia hardy geraniums with the lime green leaves as in Anne Folkard's cranesbill. |

| I don't have a favorite combination, I just plant things everywhere in no particular pattern, and it turns out o.k. Much like nature, I daresay. I do have pots of red, white, and blue on my front walk, and have had them for 3 years now. |

Just Joey peach rose with a purple leafed filbert planted behind it- it stops everyone in their tracks. Oh wait, it's not annual- how about a sea of chartruese margarite sweet potato spangled with orange and yellow tassels of emelia. Magenta globe amaranth planted in front of purple perilla. My pink flamingo in front of the perilla? |

| This year I ended up with 2 monochromatic plant combos that keep making me say 'wow' when I look at them. Red on red:
