Canadian fragrant nightbloomers

I've read the posts on fragrant nightblooming flowers with interest. Cestrum nocturnum, nightblooming jessamine, is a longtime favourite of mine from when I lived on the Gulf Coast, zone 9. Now I'm in zone 5 with *real* winters!

Luckily, I've finally located and bought a jasmine sambac, Maid of Orleans. I was able to get some seeds of cestrum nocturnum. My task now is to keep the jasmine hardy indoors (and I'm a poor indoor gardener, as I always had flowers outside prior to relocation) and to sprout the cestrum seeds.

Any advice, links, etc., would be hugely appreciated. I've missed my jasmine and jessamine for so long, and now I finally have a chance that I sure don't want to blow it!
Thanks to all,
Jean

RE: Canadian fragrant nightbloomers

This question has been plaguing me, as I am Canadian, and didn't know of any plants that were fragrant that grow primarily in Canada, so I looked it up, (googled it) and found that the Fragrant wood fern, Dryopteris fragrans, grows across most of Canada. So, I for one am glad you asked this question because I learned something new about my country.
