| I've really developed a liking for ferns. They look so delicate and lacy, yet they're tough as nails. They've also been around since before the dinosaurs and I think that's pretty cool. I love the way they can cover a whole section of parkland as well. |

I'm getting into the fern thing too. I have lots of shade and they seem to like it here even though it is on the dry side right now. I have a few small ferns but I'm planning a trip to Pender Pines (my favorite nursery even if it is 60 miles away) tomorrow for a peek at what varieties they might have to offer this year. My friends say I am soooo "out of control" at this time of year. |

| PENDER PINES!!!!! its my favorite too. And I am coming from Pennsylvania. Was last there over Mothers Day weekend 2004. OY! Did I rake in the plants to take back to Pa. Just LOVE that place. so peaceful there watching the fish. We go the North Topsail too while we are ther and stay for a week. I jsut stay at P/P's for the afternoon! Cant wait to go back. |
