Did anybody save 'He meant well'?

I have tried to do a Google search, but nothing came up. This thread is a classic and I would really like to save it. Thanks!

Frankly I hope not. This topic caused more pain and hurt more feelings and caused more battles than any I have seen on GardenWeb before or since. I wish we could let it drop NOW.

I honestly have no clue as to what you are talking about. I remember it as a great thread with funny stories. I really like the old man with the "Matterhorn mtn". I don't want to cause any battles and I have no desire to discuss the thread here. I would really like to have it because of the stories.

Dehnera: I saved the thread. Would you like me to email it to you?

Oh my gosh! Does anyone still have this thread? I started it years ago and forgot it even existed but I sure would love a copy, there were so many interesting responses. I used to post a lot on Garden Web but haven't been able to much until lately when we finally got high speed internet. I think I had a different user name back then, can't remember!

I found this thread from April 7, 1998 in the Wayback Machine.
It's the nineteenth thread down from the top one on that page.

Here is a link that might be useful: He Meant Well
