I stumbled onto the GardenWeb site this morning. I am in the process of buying a home and it has a dedicated vegetable garden area in the back, as well as fruit trees and beautiful perennials throughout the backyard. I am planning my 2010 vegie garden right now! IÂm considering raised beds, and have irrigation water that will come in twice a week. The yard already has a Peony Tree, Hydrangeas, Oregon Grapes and Pink Strawberries growing and i would like to start blackberries along the north fence. I enjoy this website and hope to get to know many members!

Welcome. The favorites forum is not one of the busiest, but it seems to attract the nicest members.

I would suggest you make a have & a wanted list. You'd be surprised at what you have that others are looking for, or things you are looking for that others are trying to get rid of. I have gotten lots of things I have never heard of from different people. Some I've killed but GW is a great teaching tool - lots of knowledgeable people. Any question you may have, do a search first & then post if you don't get it answered that way.
