What is Your Favorite Fall Tree.

| Here in the ozarks we have many beautiful fall colors. My favorite is the Sweet Gum. It comes in yellows, salmon, and pinkish. |

| Briefly in the Autumn, the sumacs are very beautiful. Should be heresy, I suppose, since they are so much trouble . . . I also like the colors of the Virginia Creepers growing everywhere someone hasn't ripped them down. I know . . . just shoot me . . . Steve |

| Oriental persimmons--it is amazing and wonderful to see the beautiful red gold fruit hanging in the bare tree. |

| I like Ginko biloba because it is reliable about turning color (brilliant yellow) in this area, which is not cold enough for real fall color. The leaves stay on the tree after they turn yellow for a long time. It's a very beautiful large tree for large spaces. My dear little Japanese Maple never turns color--the leaves merely dry up and fall off. :( |

| Bradford Pear. Glossy, clean foliage. Brilliant oranges and reds late into the fall. Beautifuly formed tree. |
