I read about this and saw photos somewhere. Can't remember if it was in a magazine or at a website. It was an imaginative place, like the garden a child might design.

The garden in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California is alive and well -- and RIGHT NOW in full bloom!

Yes, I shouldn't think that even if there were a fire that bulb plants would be tremendously affected. After all, they're under the ground. A bomb might not even bother them too much.

Hi. Daffodil garden is still alive and well. See directions in my other posting under 'Favorite Story (get your hanky out)'. Everyone was curious to see if daffodils would return after the fire; sure enough, the following spring saw the blackened mountainside covered with daffodils and tulips. Pretty amazing!
