The first choice is what I (would) do. As far as I am concerned the other choices are far inferior.

only the 3rd option will not work. Natural lighting is not a problem. Too cold and the plant can die. 60-degrees will bring them out of dormancy in a cpl of weeks regardless of lighting. Good luck!

Option 1 is OK, 3 is no good. 2 is probably OK, unless it gets and stays warm for a long period. You want to avoid your plants breaking dormancy before the spring. This is particularly true of option 3, since it will be warm, they will spend stored energy when they leaf out, only to find their source of new energy (light) is nowhere to be found.

Option 2 could be good as spring approaches if you want to extend your season by a few weeks but you might risk a late hard frost damaging their new leaves, which would mean they might have to start leafing out anew, thereby shortening the season.

Light isn't important unless they are in leaf. Store them where they come closest to being at temperatures 28* or above to 42* or below for the entire winter's rest, and make sure they are never wet or dry (shoot for 'damp' by tossing a little snow on the soil from time to time).

If you follow Rob23b Option 2, you can put a lamp with a 60 watt bulb & a temperature device, that will come on at 40 degrees. This will protect the young leave from a Spring drop in temperature. I got my device from Lowes & it is all that protects my pump, in side the pump house all Winter Z7b/8a.
