HI,

In short, I'm a hopeful fig grower, however harvest minimal fruit. My tree is at least 4 yrs old, potted, white fruit. This summer I had approx 2 breba of, no signs for remainder of the season. In order to save my husbands back the fig tree got pushed to the back of our basement. This week I about fell over, we have at least 15 figs budding out. I know this is not a good thing and that I should have wrapped the tree. Our basement is cold and dark with the exception of 2 block windows and florescent lights that we use approx 30 min a day. My first thought is to prune and wrap in burlap or boxes. Looking for suggestions -- would really love some figs in the dead of winter here in PA, but have a feeling that they would never become what I am longing for. TIA JAmie
