Fig cuttings starting to root after 10 days in improved baggie

Dan,

Thanks for the tips, I follow your instructions by washing the cuttings with dish soap and wash with 1:10 clorox bleach and wrapped it in moist not wet paper towel and inserted in a 1 gallon zip lock bag and place the bag in the plastic container and laid it in a drawer by the kitchen. I checked everday and let new air in and after 10 days the two that leafted out now has rooted and the other 6 cuttings always starting to root as well. I will try to transfer them to a 16 oz plastic cup today. I do not have the peat pots but I have an idea that I wanted to try to prevent transplant shock by using a clear saran lining inside the cup and poke a bunch of hole throught the saran and the cup itself for drainage. Once fig ready to transfer to 1 gallon pot then all I have to do is lift the saran lining out of the cup and place it in the gallon pot and pull the saran wrap away from the root ball. I think this will work out OK.
