Hi anyone:

I am trying to attach a picture along with my message on the forum and find no instructions or place where and how to accomplish this. Could someone please give me the steps as to how to do this.
Thanks.
Janoyan

Janoyan,

This is how I go about posting pictures here on the Forum

I hope this helps.

Here is an alternate method you may also find useful(link below). It is something I tossed together for an F4F fig friend that needed a handhas a little more images that folks may find helpful. Sometimes words just aren't enough, and pictures make all the difference (some of us are visual learners, some audio, some kinesthetic).

If you use the method I provide below, TinyPic.com has a convenient "RESIZE" box where you can automatically resize the image when you upload it, so you don't need to take any extra steps or worry about what version of Windows you're running.

For what it's worth, I feel that "forum size" picture resizing (640x480 pixels) is way too small these days. there are very few people that still have 15" screens (except on laptops), so 800x600 is perfectly acceptable size choice, and 1024x768 is pushing the limits of some "standard" equipment these days but ... most modern laptops and desktops support higher resolutions than that. I would say choose 800x600, but this is just my 2¢.

Many thanks, Satellithead, for your input . I think we have solved our problem, but I will keep your system on hand for possible future use.
Best,
Janoyan
