Sergio thanks for sharing this information. Sounds like a nice treat in fall when no figs are ripening. It would be more suitable for southern states and California than the North East United states. Unless you have a greenhouse.

Later fruits are I think the main fruiting of this variety.
I'm looking for a way to publicate the images on the forum.
I live in (North) Italy, when I went to the market in November, I saw that there were figs, you can not! I said.
The seller told me, come not from afar, but are a particular variety, there is only one producer.
He gave me the address of the producer, and I visited him. there I took cuttings. It has remained one only, and now is taking roots.
It does not have meaning the greenhouse, is good only in San Diego or similar, not good not even close to my garden, few miles from where I took the cuttings, but there, are on a hill very dry and really sunny, my garden is in a small valley only warm and just sunny.

sergnic, sounds like a fig that would do well in our long hot humid summers. October is usually a very dry month which would be great for ripening a fig. It would be nice to have fresh figs that late in the year. I have a nice Col de Dame Blanc coming up that is suppose to ripen figs well into October or November. It would be nice to add another late fig to the collection. Good luck with your rooting and perhaps you can help get this fig out to fig lovers. Thanks for telling us about it.
