You're right with peroxide. I can speed up the germination of tough seeds, cause it penetrates the seed coat, presumably. gotta be diluted 1:10water

If you try this route make sure to check them frequently. Seeds that normally would take 5-7 days to germinate pop in 24-36 hours.

That sounds great. It's kinda like cheating nature out. What else do you guys know about figs, I just bought one this past Saturday at a nursery. I have no idea what type of fig it is but I know it has at least a year or two before it can produce fruit.... or so I was told.
