Fig Tree Options

I live in the Santa Clara Valley, CA and am looking to replace a mulberry tree with a fig tree for a courtyard planting. Any recommendations for a tree that will grow to about 15 feet? I was thinking about a flanders fig, but then I read somewhere that they are very susceptible to wasp infestation. Thank you for any input!

"alma" or "petite negra" will stay smaller. Hope thats helpful.
