Does anyone grow this fig? The fruit must be pollinated by a specialized wasp that lives in Africa, but does this wasp also live in the United States?
This tree looks like a very interesting plant to grow. Can anything be done to the figs to get them to ripen without the pollinating wasp? I'm sure I know the answer, but I've learned some strange, unconventional growing tips on this forum, so I'm asking anyway.
"Trees of Joy" has this listed. Has anyone ever purchased one of these trees? How hardy, how big...etc?
Frank
PS...Can I train fungus-gnats to pollinate these figs? :)
