Fig (in a pot) growing in a funny direction

A couple of weeks ago I recieved 3 potted figs from Edible Landscaping. Two of them had the stems growing pretty much straight up, but the third's stem is growing off at an angle. It also looks like the (former) main stem was growing straight up, but it was pruned.

My question is, when I transplant it, should I angle the root ball so the stem points in a more vertical direction, or should I just leave it as it is - coming out in an angle?
