I've had my fiddle-leaf fig for about 6 years, and it's seems to be going on a backward slide lately. I air layered the tree in a few spots last year in an effort to thicken up the stems, or at least have some new growth, but the tree is as spindly and anemic as ever. I freshened up the soil last week and lightly trimmed the roots. It's on a south-east facing window, and it gets filtered light in the summer. Any tips on how I can get my tree to become tall and lush? Thanks!!
