Hello Sandra, that is one beautiful tree! In order to help ID the tree, it would help if you could take some pictures of the fruit when ripe whole and cut in half with a few leaves. Can you answer these questions:
When does the fruit starts to get ripe?
How many crops per year?
Is the eye on the fig open or closed?
When ripe, how much does a fig weigh?
Is the interior amber, strawberry, red or dark red?

Hi Dennis,

Unfortunately the house is about 40 minutes away and I don't go there very often. I think that it has one crop a year, it has an open eye when ripe and it has a strawberry interior. Not sure how much the fruit weights. I'll have to wait until it ripens to weigh it and get pics. It seems to root easily (pics below of the small rooted cuttings). Hopefully then someone can ID it for me. Thanks again and have a great day!
