fig tree making bad figs

I am new to the fig forum normally post on fruits.But I do have several fig trees.The question is I have one fig tree that makes big pretty figs that never gets ripe they stay hard and finally just fall off.Will it live over this or should I remove it.can any thing help? All help will be appreciated

Might not be a suitable variety for your area.
Do you know the name of the variety?
Are these figs formed on previous year wood (breba crop)?
They can also be the Smyrna type that requires pollination to set fruit.
So if the tree has been growing for several years and does that then I would remove it.

It is Celeste I have had Celeste before with no problem.I now have 4 different types.No problem with them just this one tree.The tree is approx 6 years old
