Spray, spray and Spray

Very bad advice,if you mean spray the fig trees against,the stink bugs.
Stink bugs invade the inside of the house, shed,etc,but they do not attack the fruits,in any significant ways.
If you was talking about birds ,squierrell,etc,then yes they do attack fruits,and are a big problem but spray is not the answer,only tree nets works well.
Sprays (the bug killing sprays),are very poisonous and not to be performed in backyard where children are playing,so i advice caution,to insecticide sprays.
Of course closing all gaps on the exterior of the house,so stink bug do not visit you,inside ,the house is a good measure,and it will work,very well,but ,you will have a surprise ,visit of a stink bud in your bed sooner or later,We did here,already.
What is good about it ,is that this invader does not really stink as bad as other kind of stink bugs i know.

Beware; it ALSO invades your home for warmth (comes fall)...

UGG! I saw one in my house this winter among my indoor citrus and figs. I freaked out! I did not even know what it was until I saw a news clip, and that was even worse.

Supposidly, exterminators do not even have a real treatment for stink bugs yet and cannot promise to get rid of them. That is not good.

Anyway, I only saw one, so I was hoping it was just a loney bug and that was it. According to the news on them, they like to nest inside warm homes.
THey were at the plants not to eat them or the fruit, but there because the plants are a water source to them.

They are not destructive, or feed on food or wood, etc. THey just go into homes to keep warm during the winter.
I just pray I do not see one of these again!
