Brebas on Kadota

Herman asked me to let him know how the breba figs on my Kadota came out. Well...they were dry and pithy. Non edible.

Same for the brebas on my VDB. There were a couple Black Mission figs that were edible. I had figured this would be the case, so I pinched most of them off last month. Glad I did.

We have main crop figs forming on the new growth now. Temps into the mid 90's today here in the desert.

I can hardly wait........

Temp is in the mid-90. Today we had it in Mid-50. I threw my coat away and jumped on the tiller and digged some big area in the vegetable Garden. It felt good to be out sweating.
