Best zone 10 fig

Hi, I am new to figs and fig growing. I have never tasted a fig before because I don't have a way to get any but I am interesting in growing some. So, what fig would you recommend for zone 10 in southern California. I was thinking violet de bourdeax as I have read that the flavor is very good and It likes the hot weather. Thanks in advance!

Yes VDB would be an excellent choice. Kadota and Black Mission are also well suited to zone 10.

Hi,

Maybe you can try Panachee, Medira as you live in a warm
area. The Panachee fruit is decorative, it looks just like
a mini balloon.
