Some varieties will produce figs even as cuttings in a jar of water. If you lose the initial figs, that's okay too. Next year will probably give you several good ones. Remember that repotting is always a shock.

Fig trees can get as tall as a house and just as wide, so make sure that your container is large. Once established, figs are usually hardy even in poor soil.

How tall is your tree? I have a large fig on a tiny tree I made from a cutting a few months ago. Every tree is different.

When you take your repotted fig tree outside, leave it in the shade for the first week. It can be shocked by going from indoors to bright sunshine. Hope this helps, and best luck!

Hi, I don't have experience with this variety but I've read that it is a prolific bearer of figs, producing figs thru the summer into the fall. If it is a young tree though you might want to thin out the figs so that it puts some energy into new growth and stronger roots too.

The tree is 4 feet tall, and about 3 yrs old. It did produce figs last summer. I was surprised to see figs before the leaves.
