Too Hot for a Fig?

MohammadLawati

Hello everyone,
I have three small questions about summer heat and figs. It seems my fig tree has stopped developing its figs and is aborting any small figs. There are still big ones that remained firm and green. The soil is getting dry by mid-day and I water it two times a day. Temperatures were about 43C-50C in this week.
1- Is it getting too hot for a fig tree?
2- Can I spray it with water to cool it down?
3- will spraying water affect the figs on the tree?

Thanks
