should I thin some figlets ?

The Desert King is 4 foot tall and loaded with 20 figlets. Since I bought it a month ago from an nursery, it has grown much. Leaf growth is kind of slow. One branch has 10 figlets little larger than a US quarter size.

Other branches either has 2 or 3 or 4 figlets. Each branch has 6 or 7 leaves. Should I thin out some figlets on that 10 figlet branch to allow energy to ripen less figlet ? I'm afraid that it may not have enough time ..

I've made an mistake. Not a month ago. It's only 18 days !
But my small fig tree put on leaf growth much faster.

I was wondering that myself. My seven second year fig trees and all in pots planted in the garden soil. Four of them has reasonable number of figlets, one has none and two which are over 5 feet with vigorous Roth of leaves are showing a lot of figlets. There is a formula which I don't remember of how many leaves are needed to support a healthy figlet. Does any one know?
