was it a balanced fertilizer? If so, you will be fine. What you want to avoid is skewing the balance of macronutrients too much one way or the other as the will affect the uptake of other nutrients and result in deficiencies. Good luck!

No, it's not balanced. It has far more K in it than N & P. It was a liquid fertilizer, so I don't imagine it will hang around in the pots very long. I can flush the pots, can't I? The way I understand it is I should water the pots and a short while later, really run water through the soil a couple of times to get rid of built up P & K.

I really don't think one dose will change the macro/micro nutrient balance all that much. Just leave it be. Otherwise you will also leach out the other nutrients as well and gain the salts (bad) found in your water source. Take care!
