A couple of fig newbie questions

My Hardy Brooklyn is rooting like crazy but the ones from GRIN are pushing green shoots but not roots (even 1 baby fig). They are only just starting to get initials. The cuttings are quite tall and initials are all up the scion. When I pot them should I put them deep enough so that only the green tips are showing? Should I wait for more root growth before potting?

Also, is it possible to reuse the green moss I started them in?

if your cuttings are quite tallÃ¯Â¼Â you should not put them too deep so that the roots could grow within good conditions for breathing.
