Do anyone know where to find this fig? I asked the owner of the site planet fig, but he state that he won't have any to give away for years to come. Members on the figs4fun Site don't have a ideal as they are looking too. I live in Washington state and would like something that won't die in the winter. Also I find the description of this fig very interesting.

Hi,

Finding this fig is hard, count yourself lucky if you can find an available one.
As for a fig tree that doesn't die in the winter in your cold area, you have to protect it well with insulation!

I live in zone 5 or 6 in Toronto, Canada.
It was the first year that my fig tree spent its winter in the ground last winter. I had it all wrapped up and it slept for a whole 6 months.
