Violette de Bordeaux vs. Petite Negra

Hello,

I've got a fig tree that is labeled as "Violette de Bordeaux" but I'm not sure after looking at some pictures on the internet. What are the differences between VDB and Petite Negra?

    I have a VBD fig and they are very different from petite negra. VBD bears long fruits with smooth skin -shown in the picture. Petite negra had a rounder fruit. The leaves on the VDB are also thicker than the ones on petite negra.
