What kind of fig for eastern NC

I am interested in getting a fig tree and wonder what kind would be good for eastern NC? We have fairly acidic soil and grow lots of blueberries here. What is the best way to get the figs also?

Here is probably the best site around that talks about figs, its loaded with information if you look at the site and all its links within.Im sure some will chime in from the surrounding area about what type might do well in your area.
