Dinnerplate Fig

Here's a Dinner Plate Fig found at Sea World. It's a tropical fig found along the western coast and highlands of New Guinea. It has one of the most gigantic leaves of any plant. The leaves on this specimen were about 3 feet by 1.5 feet and it's baseball sized fruits are the largest of all the figs. Requires a specific species of wasp native to its habitat.
Has anyone eaten fruit from this tree. I take it that it is nothing like our common figs.
