How would Black Turkey do South Florida?

I have what I believe to be a black turkey tree...though I am not 100% certain of the variety...maybe Celeste?...

I'd like to give an established cutting to my brother living in southeast Florida, and I would like feedback regarding whether black Turkey would do well there either as a potted plant or an in-ground tree.

If so, are there any specifics regarding soil amendments, fertilization, etc. that need to be attended to. He lives toward the coast, and much of the ground soil tends to be laced with ancient coral deposits, so kinda limy.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Black turkey? I know of brown turkey but never heard of the black one. Celeste is a small, violet to blackish fig with a red interior. The eye is closed. Brown turkey is a larger fig, dark brown color outside, has an open eye and usually a void in the center. Both can grow down there no problem but If I lived in Florida, of those 2 I would go with celeste. I find figs like "limey" soil. Why put it in a pot when you don't have too? But there are much better varieties for that location
