He guys thanks for the replays but also was told to pinch the branch every five leafs so I did it and my fig tree is so full of fruit. Now by doing this does this stop the tree from growing or makes it stay small. The tree is in a container half barrel don't want a big tree I would prefer a small tree is the that possible to have

Pinching will dwarf your tree to some extent. But the main thing that keeps a potted tree small is the limited soil volume. Your plant will stall out at some point even if you never pruned just because of the limited root system.
