That's what happens to me if I try to hold back water in the Summer --thinking that less water will mean better tasting figs. For me maintaining even moisture is the ticket. Lots of mulch, etc.

@mrclint Thanks! I guess it is the heat, I need to give it more water. I thought I was giving it enough haha! Might be cooking from inside out...
Yeah, Tomorrow Ill be giving it more water.
I thought it was the humidity because it is getting too humid and a tour outside means returning soaked in sweat hehe.
