Hi All!

I'm thinking about purchasing a fig tree to grow in a container. I live in Michigan, and I know there is the possibility of growing one outside depending on the type, but I would prefer to keep it in the house during the winter. I'm getting ready to go down to SC to visit my sister, and she told me there are quite a few varieties to choose from in the nurseries by her. The one variety that has peaked my interest is the Italian Black - I've tried googling it to do some research, but can't find as much information on it as I can some of the others. Can anyone tell me if this particular type of fig tree would do okay in a container?
