My monster fig tree has to be pruned!

My huge fig tree is trying to eat my driveway! It has already ate my fence and a crab-apple tree, has its eyes on the other crab-apple.

I don't mind losing the crab-apples, I'll use them for smoking wood. It has limbs hanging over the asphalt driveway now!

My question is! When should I prune the limbs in the driveway? I want to wait till after harvest, not damage the tree, and give away the cuttings to friends and/or people here to start their own fig trees.

I don't know the variety since it was on the property long before I bought it, but I think it is a brown turkey.
