Black Italian from Greenleaf Nursery

Bought this at Pikes in the fall of 2013. Planted it in the ground late April 2014. Has a fig almost ripe!

Why thank you! My wife is not into figs and has commented that she likes the way it looks.

I wonder if it is known by some other name?

Thank you! I have scoured the internet for information and found hardly anything. http://cajunfigs.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-black-fig-and-italian-fig.html has some information on a "Black Italian", but mine does not have pink leaf stems. It does have pink bud tips. On Greenleafs website: http://www.greenleafnursery.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/plants.plantDetail/plant_id/5252/index.htm there is very brief information. I would like to find out more about it. The figs were very good.

I found a site that sells Italian cuttings. They have one picture Of "Valle Negra" and the leaves and plant look very similar, but not the same.
