Take a 5 gallon bucket fill it up to 3/4 its capacity with water. Take the plant out of its pot and put it in the bucket (which has water). let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Make sure the whole root ball in under water.

Done that many times with great results.

I would recommend sprinkling a little Sevin powder on the top and drain holes to kill the entire colony. Drowning them may allow some to escape. Good luck!
