Is this rust?

I think my LSU purple has leaf rust. I was hoping someone would mind helping me confirm that? This is my first fig tree and I'm trying to be careful. If it is, I have read to treat with a copper fungicide? Do you know of any home made fungicides that might work instead? I plan to remove the affected leaves first and then spraying. I really appreciate your help!

It seems rust froms under the leafs more often. Can you get photos of the bottom side of the leaf?
